Job Summary – Warehouse Manager
The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations to ensure efficient, safe, and accurate handling of goods. This role focuses on managing inventory, optimizing storage and distribution processes, and supervising the warehouse team to maintain high operational standards. The Warehouse Manager will coordinate closely with procurement, logistics, and sales departments to guarantee timely order fulfillment and smooth workflow across all activities.
In addition to operational duties, the Warehouse Manager will play a key role in implementing warehouse systems, improving productivity, enforcing safety procedures, and ensuring compliance with company policies. This position requires a hands-on, organized, and results-oriented professional with strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities
Warehouse Operations (Primary Focus):
Oversee daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, and dispatch.
Ensure accurate inventory control through regular stock checks and system updates.
Maintain optimal storage layout to improve efficiency and accessibility.
Monitor order processing and ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
Implement and enforce warehouse safety and hygiene standards.
Manage warehouse equipment and ensure proper maintenance.
Track KPIs such as order accuracy, stock variance, and turnaround time.
Team Leadership & Coordination:
Supervise warehouse staff, assign tasks, and monitor performance.
Conduct training for warehouse employees on safety and operational procedures.
Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and sales teams to support business needs.
Foster a productive and disciplined work environment.
Process Improvement & Reporting:
Identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements.
Develop and update warehouse procedures and workflows.
Prepare daily and monthly warehouse reports (inventory, dispatch, receiving).
Support audits and ensure full compliance with company policies.
Candidate Profile
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum 5–7 years of experience in warehouse or logistics management.
Strong leadership skills with experience managing warehouse teams.
Solid knowledge of inventory systems, warehouse processes, and safety standards.
Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) is an advantage.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Strong communication skills and ability to work under pressure.
Fluent in English.
