Shipping& Logistics Officer

The Shipping & Logistics Officer will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing the efficient movement of goods, both domestically and internationally. The role involves collaborating with carriers, freight forwarders, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure shipments are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with all shipping and customs regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate domestic and international shipments, including documentation and customs clearance.
  • Liaise with carriers, freight forwarders, and shipping agencies to ensure timely delivery.
  • Monitor and track shipments, providing updates to internal teams and clients.
  • Prepare shipping documents, bills of lading, invoices, and delivery notes.
  • Ensure compliance with shipping regulations, import/export requirements, and company policies.
  • Optimize logistics and transportation routes to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
  • Resolve shipping or transportation issues promptly.
  • Maintain accurate records of all logistics activities.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in shipping, logistics, or supply chain operations.
  • Knowledge of shipping procedures, international trade, and customs regulations.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with ERP or logistics software is a plus.

Must Have
